Arctic Monkeys - Touring Australia May 2014

Frontier Touring is thrilled to confirm that Sheffield Arctic Monkeys will be landing in Australia next May to embark on their biggest tour of our shores to date!

Arctic Monkeys first burst onto the music scene in 2006 with their Award-winning debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not.  The album became the fastest-selling debut album in British music history. 

In the years since their debut, the band have received two Grammy Award nominations, five Brit Awards, headlined the iconic Glastonbury Festival twice and taken to the world stage in front of billions as part of the London Olympic Games opening ceremony. Originally one of the ‘best new bands to watch’, Arctic Monkeys have well and truly cemented themselves now as one of the most important British bands of their time.

The band were last Down Under in 2011 for Falls and Southbound Festivals as well as a handful of Australian headline shows; in 2014 they will return for their most extensive run of tour dates including two New Zealand shows and five Australian shows in celebration of their fifth studio album AM (out now through Domino Records/EMI).

On the charts, AM was the band’s fifth consecutive UK #1 debut, making them the first artist signed to an independent label to achieve this. Closer to home, the album shot straight to the #1 spot on both the ARIA Album Chart and New Zealand’s Official Album Chart.

As well as success on the charts, AM was also heralded by critics  across the globe as Arctic Monkeys’ best album to date and was nominated for the 2013 Mercury Music Prize just two days after its release.

If the demand for their latest album is anything to go by, these tickets won’t last long. Be quick to see Arctic Monkeys; one of the greatest live bands to emerge in recent years.

Vans Warped Tour Australia 2013 Dates Announced

Using the most professional and cheapest method of communication, the promoter dropped the dates via his Twitter account this morning.

The venue details and artist lineup have yet to be revealed, but that’s expected to come in the next few months.

AJ recently revealed his excitement at working with Warped Tour founder, saying “Kevin Lyman IS warped and always the man to thank. I’m just privileged to assist him…

Warped is about mayhem & DIY punk rock spirit. [Soundwave] is about delivering a slick & orchestrated day of performances.”

It will be the first Australian leg for the Vans Warped Tour in more than a decade and we can’t wait to see what it brings to our shores.


First launched in 1995, three years later in January 1998 the festival first made its way to Australia with a lineup that featured Pennywise, Frenzal Rhomb, Blink 182, The Living End, Bodyjar and more. Warped hasn’t been back here since 2002.

Maddah hasn’t dropped any hints about the lineup yet, but did confirm that the Vans Warped Tour won’t have any sideshows.

New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys Shows Australia at Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, Brisbane and More

With the continued and insatiable fan demand, the unstoppable phenomenon that is NKOTBSB will officially bring their show down under! In May, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys will come to Australia for five shows only, stopping in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

"If our fans want us down under, we'll go down under," said New Kids' Donnie Wahlberg. "Our international fans have been flying to see us stateside for years, so now we are bringing the show to them. Get ready Australia, we are coming to you!"

The Australian leg will bring the historic NKOTBSB tour for a limited four show run, giving fans across the globe chances to catch their favorite groups on one stage.

NKOTBSB first shocked and delighted fans when they took the stage together for a medley at the sold out NKOTB Radio City Music Hall show. The two groups wowed audiences again in their first joint televised performance at the American Music Awards almost a year ago in November 2010 and have toured consistently through 2011 since coming together.

With over 200 million albums sold between both bands, and smash hit after smash hit, these two pop sensations have dominated the music scene for over three decades. Aiming to please, these guys are giving concert goers and diehard fans everywhere the ultimate "night out" experience.
