Eason Chan is on the threshold of major stardom in Hong Kong. He is undoubtedly one of the most dominant male singers in the post-1997 era of Hong Kong music industry. Eason Chan has been praised by Time magazine as a front runner in the next generation of Cantopop, and is considered as the Hong Kong's third "god of song" after Samuel Hui and Jacky Cheung. In 2012, Time Out Hong Kong crowned Chan as the "King of Asian Pop”
Not only a powerful vocalist, Eason Chan also plays a variety of musical instruments including piano, violin, accordion, harmonica, bass, guitar and drums. He frequently showcases his musical talent by incorporating instruments into his live performances. Chan is also a song-writer who has written many songs, some included in his albums.
When asked about the meaning behind the concert theme LIFE, Eason Chan explained, "Flowers bloom and fade. Everything around us is ever-changing, so we need to firmly hold onto what we have now. Sing our hearts out, dance our hearts out, and live our lives to the fullest. We need to live well at every moment to welcome our bright futures.”
